Sekoko Resources (Pty) Ltd is a South African-based black-owned energy and minerals company developing the coal, magnetite iron ore and PGMs Projects in the in the Limpopo Province of South Africa.
 Sekoko is advancing a significant exploration program and feasibility studies on the Waterberg Coal Joint Venture project based on the total Coal Zone Resource to 5 billion tonnes. Sekoko is targeting to commence operations in 2012, this forming the basis for developing a global coal business.
The project will be a very significant contributor to the economy of Lephalale and surrounding areas and will directly benefit the people of Lephalale and surrounding areas by providing jobs, skills training and business opportunities.
The objective of Sekoko Resources is to provide the Company with high quality, sustainable growth opportunities through the discovery or acquisition of top-tier mineral deposits. Exploration resources are primarily focused on the Company’s three core business commodities: coal, magnetite iron ore and Platinum Group Metals or PGEs. Strategic opportunities in other metals and high margin mineral commodities are also actively pursued.
Sekoko combines in-house expertise and exploration partnerships in its overall business plan. The Company's exploration business unit has developed successful working relationships with mining and exploration companies. |
